PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1640 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />ROBERT 2. BROWN FILED UNDER UP-78-9. <br />WHEREAS, Robert I. Brown has filed for a conditional use permit to <br />allow the construction and operation of a mini-storage <br />complex on the 3.5 acre parcel of land located south- <br />westerly of the S.P.R.R. tracks extending from Santa <br />Rita Road southeasterly about 1,500 feet; zoning is I-P <br />(Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted <br />by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution <br />No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of May 10, 1978, <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development, regarding the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of <br />its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section <br />5.4(e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which has previously <br />been published in the "Pleasanton Times," at the time of <br />the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports <br />as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports in order to determine if <br />a Negative Declaration is appropriate for the project and <br />what mitigation measures, if any, must be undertaken to <br />ensure that the project will not have a significant impact <br />upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />
