PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1641 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />ROBERT 2. BROWN FILED UNDER UP-78-9. <br />WHEREAS, Robert I. Brown has filed for a conditional use permit to <br />allow the construction and operation of a mini-storage <br />complex on the 3.5 acre parcel of land located southwesterly <br />of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks extending from Santa <br />Rita Road southeasterly about 1,500 feet; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-P (Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing to review this request was held by the <br />Planning Commission on May 10, 1978, when all pertinent maps, <br />drawings, documents and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or main- <br />tained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-78-9, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That approval of this case is conditioned upon approval <br />of cases V-78-10 and Z-78-59 and all conditions attached <br />thereto by the Board of Adjustment and Design Review Board. <br />2. That the developer dedicate to the City for street <br />right-of-way purposes a 31 ft. parcel along the entire <br />Santa Rita Road frontage of the subject property. <br />3. That the developer submit a building permit survey <br />and a site development plan in accordance with the <br />Survey Ordinance (Article 3, Chapter 3, Title II), and <br />that these plans be approved by the Director of <br />Engineering Services prior to the issuance of a building <br />permit. <br />
