PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1648 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />BERNARD AND BRYAN CHING FILED UNDER UP-78-14. <br />WHEREAS, Bernard and Bryan Ching have filed for a conditional use <br />permit to operate a body building gymnasium at 7020 Commerce <br />Drive; zoning for the property being I-G (General Industrial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 14, 1978, before the <br />Planning Commission, at which time all pertinent reports, <br />documents and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: <br />A. The proposed location of the conditional use is in <br />accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />- B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or main- <br />tained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-78-14, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the permit is granted for a body building-health- <br />physical fitness center occupying a maximum of one-third <br />of the building at 7020 Commerce Drive. <br />2. That if signing for the use is desired, the applicant <br />submit a proposal for signing under a separate appli- <br />cation. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from the <br />date of passage and adoption. <br />
