PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1648 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR BERNARD AND BRYAN CHING FILED UNDER UP-78-14. WHEREAS, Bernard and Bryan Ching have filed for a conditional use permit to operate a body building gymnasium at 7020 Commerce Drive; zoning for the property being I-G (General Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 14, 1978, before the Planning Commission, at which time all pertinent reports, documents and testimony were reviewed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: A. The proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the purposes of the district in which the site is located. - B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or main- tained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-78-14, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the permit is granted for a body building-health- physical fitness center occupying a maximum of one-third of the building at 7020 Commerce Drive. 2. That if signing for the use is desired, the applicant submit a proposal for signing under a separate appli- cation. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from the date of passage and adoption.
