PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1652 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES FILED UNDER UP-77-14. <br />WHEREAS, the State Architect's Office submitted an application for <br />a conditional use permit to establish an office for the <br />Department of Motor Vehicles on a site located on the south <br />side of West Las Positas Boulevard immediately west of <br />the Bank of America Branch office; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the site is P (Public and Institutional) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 12, <br />1978, when all pertinent maps, drawings, documents and <br />testimony were reviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-14, subject to <br />the following findings and conditions: <br />Findings <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety., or welfare, or materially injurious to the <br />properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />Conditions of Approval <br />1. That approval of this case is conditioned upon the <br />approval of case Z-78-68 and all conditions which may <br />be attached thereto by the Design Review Board. <br />2. That the developer submit a site development plan in <br />_ accordance with the Survey Ordinance (Article 3, <br />Chapter 3, Title II) and that these plans be approved <br />by the City Engineer prior to the issuance of a building <br />permit. <br />
