PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1653 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROJECT <br />FILED UNDER Z-78-62 AND UP-78-11 FOR TAM INVESTMENT <br />COMPANY, INCORPORATED, WOULD NOT HAVE AN ADVERSE <br />IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Tam Investment Co., Inc., has filed for design review and <br />conditional use permit approvals to construct and operate <br />a shopping center to be located at the northeasterly <br />corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, a small portion of the adjacent 1.8 acre P (Public and <br />Institutional) zoned property would be utilized for parking <br />to serve this project; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial), 0 (Office) <br />and P (Public and Institutional) Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this project an Initial Study was done <br />-- pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by <br />Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its July 12, 1978, meeting <br />received said Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report prepared by the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated May 19, 1978; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing to review this Initial Study was held on <br />July 12, 1978, when all pertinent information was made avail- <br />able to the Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the finding that the project <br />filed under Z-78-62 and UP-78-11, would not have an adverse <br />impact on the environment and that a negative declaration <br />would be filed. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
