Housing units and strtxxures shall not tie <br />placed on slopes -of 25 percent or greater, or within 100 vertical feet of a ridgeline. No grading to <br />construct residential or cbmn'~ercial structures ahab occur on hillside slopes 2594 or greater, a within <br />100 vertical feet of a ridgel'ine. Exempt from this policy are housing devebpments of 10 or fewer <br />housing units on a single property that was, as of January 1, 2007, "legal par+c~P pursuant to the <br />California Subd'nrlsion Map lave. The City Council shall uphold the <br />housing cap and shat! not grant waivers that exdude housing units consistent with this deftnition. <br />II. N any portions of this Initiative are declared irnalid by a court, the remaining portions are to be <br />considered valid. <br />Ili.
