We have lived at 433 Sycamore Road since July 1990. During those years the home at 481 Sycamore Road has seen no less than three tenants prior to the current owner. Each of these tenants have been respectful of their neighbors, particularly in regards to foul odors associated with farm animals and horses and outside yard clutter. The same does not hold true for the current home owner. We routinely smell foul odors, experience an enormous influx of flies, view cluttered yards, particularly the front yard where a POD (storage unit) has been located for months, along with a large commercial vehicle to name but a few of the annoyances. This leads me to the most recent eyesore which is the large green water storage tank Apparently the installation for such an "eyesore" requires application for a conditional use permit before installation. For someone to install this without a permit and in direct opposition to an adjoining neighbor's request indicates a complete lack and disregard for an "orderly" process and absolutely no compassion for one's neighbors. Perhaps the Planning Commissioners should probe this area at the hearing to determine if the water tank was placed in its present location with "malice" in mind. In closing, if this request is approved, I urge it be conditioned upon the fact the tank cannot be seen from the street or seen by surrounding neighbors... John J. Severini 5/11/2008
