DRAFT <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 9 (I INDUSTRIAL <br />DISTRICTS), CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), TITLE II (ZONING <br />AND DEVELOPMENT) BY REMOVING CERTAIN PERMITTED <br />AND CONDITIONAL USES IN THE I-P (.INDUSTRIAL PARK) <br />DISTRICT AND PLACING THEM IN THE I-G (GENERAL IN- <br />DUSTRIAL) DISTRICT AND DELETING CERTAIN OTHER <br />PERMITTED USES <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 2-7.20 (Permitted Uses) of Article 9 CI Indus- <br />trial Districts), Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Develop- <br />ment) is hereby amended by deleting from subsection 1 (I-P Indus- <br />trial Park District), subsection a., the following: <br />(1) Manufacturing, assembling, compounding, packaging <br />and processing of articles or merchandise from the <br />following previously prepared materials: asbestos... <br />(Z) Manufacturing of vitreous china table and kitchen <br />items, fine earthenware, or porcelain electrical <br />supplies. <br />(3) Manufacturing, assembling, compounding, packaging <br />and processing of cosmetics, drugs, pharmaceuticals, <br />perfumes, perfumed toilet soap (not including refin- <br />ing or rendering of fats or oils}, and toiletries. <br />(4) Motion picture production. <br />(5) Railroad stations; bus stops. <br />Section 2. Section 2-7.21 (Conditional Uses), Article 9, Chapter 2, <br />Title II is amended by deleting the following from subsection 1 CI-P <br />Industrial Park District): <br />
