PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Pleasanton <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1503 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MAKING THE FINDING THAT <br />A SWIMMING POOL SUPPLY AND SERVICE BUSINESS IS SIMILAR ENOUGH <br />TO THE TYPES OF USES GENERALLY FOUND IN A NURSERY, TO BE ALLOWED <br />AS PART OF A NURSERY BUSINESS. <br />WHEREAS, Larry Billings, owner of Casa Verde Garden Center, at <br />5511 Sunol Boulevard, has requested an interpretation of the Zoning Code <br />as to whether a swimming pool supply and service business is similar <br />enough to the types of uses generally found in a nursery to be allowed <br />as part of that use; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned I-P (Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Casa Verde Garden Center operation was approved as a <br />conditional use in said Industrial Park zoning district; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed this request at their <br />March 9, 1977 meeting, at which time all pertinent documents, reports and <br />testimony were received by them. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission hereby finds that "swimming <br />pool supply and service" is similar enough to the types of uses generally <br />found in a nursery to be allowed as part of a nursery business. <br />Section 2. This resolution takes effect 15 days from the date of <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 9th day of March, 1977, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd, <br />Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Attest: Secretary Harris <br />Date: March 9, 1977 <br />Attest: ~ <br />Robert J.
