Commissioners must disqualify <br />themselves from making or participating in the making of any <br />decisions which will foreseeably have a material financial effect, <br />distinguishable from its effect on the public generally, on any <br />reportable interest of that Commissioner (except sources of gifts <br />less than $250). In addition, Commissioners shall disqualify <br />themselves from making or participating in -the making of any decision <br />which will have a material financial effect, distinguishable from its <br />effect on the public generally, on any economic interest of the <br />relatives. For the purposes of this code the term relatives shall <br />include father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, niec~_~ nephew, <br />by blood or marriage. No Commissioner shall. be prevented from makinq <br />or participating in the making of any decision to the extent his or <br />her participation is legally required for the decision to be made. <br />Section 600. Manner of Disqualification. When a Commissioner is <br />required to disqualify him or herself, notice of disqualification <br />shall be given at the meeting during which consideration of the <br />decision takes place and shall be made a part of the official <br />record of the Commission.
