PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CLAIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1512 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FILED UNDER UP-77-4. <br />WHEREAS, Dennis Williams has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to conduct a swimming pool supply and service <br />store in an existing building at 446 St. John Street; <br />zoning for the property being C-C (Central Commercial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on this application on <br />April 13, 1977, at which time the Planning Commission <br />reviewed all pertinent maps, drawings, documents, and <br />testimony; and made the findings that: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional <br />use is in accord with the objectives of this <br />chapter and the purposes of the district in which <br />the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare or materially injurious <br />to properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of this <br />chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-4, subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That this use permit is granted for the sale of <br />swimming pool parts, equipment and supplies, <br />and swimming pool maintenance and repair only. <br />2. That a total of four parking spaces meeting all <br />City standards be constructed at the rear of the <br />building and that these parking spaces be installed <br />prior to use of the subject property for the <br />business proposed. <br />3. That if signing for the business is desired, the <br />applicant apply to the City for a signing program <br />under a separate application. <br />
