PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CLAIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1512 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FILED UNDER UP-77-4. WHEREAS, Dennis Williams has applied for a conditional use permit to conduct a swimming pool supply and service store in an existing building at 446 St. John Street; zoning for the property being C-C (Central Commercial) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on this application on April 13, 1977, at which time the Planning Commission reviewed all pertinent maps, drawings, documents, and testimony; and made the findings that: A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the purposes of the district in which the site is located. B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare or materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity. C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-4, subject to the following conditions: 1. That this use permit is granted for the sale of swimming pool parts, equipment and supplies, and swimming pool maintenance and repair only. 2. That a total of four parking spaces meeting all City standards be constructed at the rear of the building and that these parking spaces be installed prior to use of the subject property for the business proposed. 3. That if signing for the business is desired, the applicant apply to the City for a signing program under a separate application.
