PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 1526
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED
PROJECT FILED UNDER UP-77-7, COULD NOT HAVE A
SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.
WHEREAS, Mark Lawrence has applied for approval to operate a skate-
board park on a approximately 1.5 acre portion of the site
at 7100 Johnson Industrial Drive; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment
in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been
conducted; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this
matter at its June 8, 1977 meeting, and an opportunity was
given to hear public testimony on the potential environmental
impacts of the project and no public testimony was given.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's
guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of
projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as
they pertained to the requirements for Negative Declarations
and Environmental Impact Reports to determine if a Negative
Declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures must
be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a
significant effect upon the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves as follows:
Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project could not
have a significant effect on the environment and a negative
declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be
prepared for this project.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
-1-
