PLANNING COMMISSION <br />- CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1532 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A RENEWAL <br />OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ST. CLARE'S <br />EPISCOPAL CHURCH, UP-77-9. <br />WHEREAS, St. Clare's Episcopal Church has applied for renewal <br />of a conditional use permit to construct and operate <br />a church facility on a three-acre site located on <br />the northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Valley <br />Trails Drive (south); and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property being RM-2500 (Multiple <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, St. Clare's Episcopal Church had received prior <br />approval per Resolution 1420 for a conditional use <br />permit, application number UP-76-16; and <br />WHEREAS, the renewal request (application UP-77-9) was reviewed <br />at a public hearing held on July 13, 1977, when all <br />'- pertinent maps, drawings, documents, testimony and <br />reports were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings: <br />A. The proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter <br />and the purposes of the district in which the <br />site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the <br />public health, safety, welfare, or be materially <br />injurious to the properties or improvements in <br />the vicinity, because ample parking would be <br />provided and the location is adjacent to Hopyard <br />Road, a main thoroughfare of the City. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of this <br />chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-9, subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />
