PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1534 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FILED UNDER UP-77-10. <br />WHEREAS, Goodwill Industries has applied for a conditional use <br />permit to allow the placement of an attended collection <br />trailer approximately 140 feet west of Santa Rita Road <br />opposite the Stanley Boulevard intersection, to be <br />used as an attended collection center; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property being C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing to review this matter was held on <br />July 13, 1977, when all pertinent testimony, reports, <br />and maps were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />is in accord with the objectives of this chapter <br />and the purposes of the district in which the site <br />is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use <br />and the conditions under which it would be operated <br />or maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious <br />to the properties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use would comply <br />with each of the applicable provisions of this <br />chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-10, subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That this use permit is approved for an attended <br />collection center consisting of no more than one <br />truck-trailer parked on the subject site at any <br />one time. <br />_ 2. That all of the northern approximately 70 ft. <br />(measured along the eastern boundary line) of <br />Parcel 946-3370-14 be kept free of weeds at all <br />times and completely covered with crushed rock. <br />
