PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 153 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT <br />FILED UNDER PUD-77-5 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT <br />IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Savco Construction has applied for a development plan for <br />an eight-unit "garden court" home subdivision on the west <br />side of Sonoma Drive between Junipero Street and developed <br />multiple lots to the north of Junipero Street; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review an environmental assessment <br />in the form of an Initial Study for the project has been <br />conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this matter <br />at its July 13, 1977 meeting, and an opportunity was given <br />_ to hear public testimony on the potential environmental <br />impacts of the project and no public testimony was given. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and preparation of environmental impact reports as <br />they pertain to the requirements for Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports to determine if a Negative <br />Declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures must <br />be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a sig- <br />nificant effect upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not <br />have a significant effect on the environment and a negative <br />declaration is the appropriate environmental document to be <br />prepared for this project. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />
