PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 1537
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT FILED UNDER UP-77-11.
WHEREAS, E. A. Hathaway & Co., on behalf of Citizens Savings
and Loan has filed for a conditional use permit to
operate a savings and loan facility at the northeast
corner of Main and Abbie Streets, and a retail com-
mercial building on the same site; and
WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial)
District; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
this application when all pertinent maps, drawings,
reports and testimony was reviewed; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings:
A. That because the proposed conditional use would
be located in the downtown area and because City
policy and the general plan designate the downtown
as a financial center of the City, the conditional
use is in accord with the objectives of this
chapter and the purposes of the district in which
the site is located.
B. That the proposed location of the conditional use
and the conditions under which it would be operated
or maintained will not be detrimental to the public
health, safety or welfare, or materially injurious
to the properties or improvements in the vicinity.
C. That the proposed conditional use will comply
with each of the applicable provisions of this
chapter.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-11, subject
to the following conditions:
1. That the development be substantially as shown
on the site plan and elevations, Exhibit A, and
- the landscape plan, Exhibit B, on file with the
Planning Department.
