PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1541 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT THE PROJECT FILED UNDER TENTATIVE MAP TRACT 3889 WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. WHEREAS, Chris Beratlis has filed for approval of Tentative Map Tract 3889 said tract map to subdivide 6.345 acres into 27 lots, located between San Antonio Street and the Catholic cemetery at the ends of San Juan and San Carlos Ways; both streets to be extended to serve the site. The lots would conform in size to existing single family developments to the north of the site. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single Family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review, an environmental assessment in the form of an initial study for the project has been conducted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on July 13, 1977, reviewed the potential environmental impact associated with this project as identified in the initial study; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at the July 13, 1977, public hearing gave an opportunity to hear public testimony on the potential environmental impacts of the pro- posed project and there was no public testimony; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's guidelines and processing procedures for the evaluation of projects in preparation of environ- mental impact reports as they pertain to the require- ments of negative declarations and environmental impact reports to determine if a negative declaration is appropriate and what mitigation measures must be undertaken to insure that the project will not have a significant effect upon the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project will not have an adverse effect on the environment and that a negative declaration will be prepared. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
