PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1541 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE <br />FINDING THAT THE PROJECT FILED UNDER <br />TENTATIVE MAP TRACT 3889 WILL NOT HAVE <br />A SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT. <br />WHEREAS, Chris Beratlis has filed for approval of Tentative <br />Map Tract 3889 said tract map to subdivide 6.345 <br />acres into 27 lots, located between San Antonio <br />Street and the Catholic cemetery at the ends of <br />San Juan and San Carlos Ways; both streets to be <br />extended to serve the site. The lots would conform <br />in size to existing single family developments to <br />the north of the site. Zoning for the property is <br />R-1-6500 (Single Family Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with this review, an environmental <br />assessment in the form of an initial study for the <br />project has been conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on July 13, 1977, reviewed <br />the potential environmental impact associated with <br />this project as identified in the initial study; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at the July 13, 1977, public <br />hearing gave an opportunity to hear public testimony <br />on the potential environmental impacts of the pro- <br />posed project and there was no public testimony; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of <br />the City's guidelines and processing procedures for <br />the evaluation of projects in preparation of environ- <br />mental impact reports as they pertain to the require- <br />ments of negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports to determine if a negative declaration is <br />appropriate and what mitigation measures must be <br />undertaken to insure that the project will not have <br />a significant effect upon the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that the project <br />will not have an adverse effect on the environment <br />and that a negative declaration will be prepared. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />
