PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1544 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION <br />OF RZ-77-6 THE REZONING OF PROPERTY SOUTHWEST <br />OF THE INTERSECTION OF BERNAL AVENUE AND MAIN <br />STREET. <br />WHEREAS, John Edgren, Manuel Delis and Valley Bank have applied to <br />rezone approximately 3.1 acres of land located at the <br />southwest corner of Main Street and Bernal Avenue and <br />including all of those properties lying between the <br />City Hall and Main Street, and between Bernal Avenue and <br />the Pleasanton School District Administration Building, <br />from O (Office) District and the P (Public and Institu- <br />tional) District to the C-C (Central Commercial) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on August 10, <br />1977, at which time all pertinent maps, drawings, documents <br />and testimony were reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the finding that the rezoning <br />request is in conformance with the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of RZ-77-6, as petitioned. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of August, 1977, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd and <br />Chairman Butler <br />NOES: Commissioner Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />
