PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1546 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO THE <br />CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION OF RZ-77-7. <br />WHEREAS, Vorelco of California, Inc., has applied to rezone approxi- <br />mately 25.7 acres of land located on Johnson Industrial <br />Drive at the intersection of I-580 and I-680, from the <br />I-G, 3 acres to the I-G, 40,000 District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on August 10, <br />1977, when all pertinent maps, drawings and documents were <br />reviewed; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after reviewing all available data <br />concluded: <br />A. That the proposed rezoning would not change the land uses <br />allowed on the subject property. <br />B. That the site development standards would vary only <br />slightly between the I-G, 3 acres and the I-G, 40,000 <br />District. <br />C. That the proposed rezoning would be in conformance with <br />the purposes of the Industrial District of the Ordinance <br />Code of the City of Pleasanton. <br />D. That the proposed action would be in conformance with <br />the General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of RZ-77-7 as petitioned. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 10th day of August, 1977, by the <br />following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood and <br />Chairman Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ATTEST: Secretary Harris <br />DATE: August 10, 1977 <br />
