PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1549 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR VALLEY COMMUNITY CHURCH FILED UNDER UP-77-12. WHEREAS, Valley Community Church has filed for a conditional use permit to allow the establishment and operation of a church on a,5.3 acre site located on the north side of the Del Valle Parkway immediately west of Amador High School; and WHEREAS, the zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing to review this application was held on August 10, 1977, at which time all pertinent maps, drawings, documents and testimony were reviewed by the Planning Com- mission; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: A. The proposed location of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the purposes of the .district in which the site is located. B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions under which it would be operated or main- tained will not be detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious to pro- perties or improvements in the vicinity. C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves the following: Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-12, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the development be substantially as shown on the site plan, elevations and landscape plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning Department. 2. That approval of this use permit is subject to the approval of Case Z-77-106 and any conditions which may be attached hereto by the Design Review Board. 3. That the church encourage its members to use only the western end of the Del Valle Parkway for access to the site.
