PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1549 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR VALLEY COMMUNITY CHURCH FILED <br />UNDER UP-77-12. <br />WHEREAS, Valley Community Church has filed for a conditional use <br />permit to allow the establishment and operation of a church <br />on a,5.3 acre site located on the north side of the Del <br />Valle Parkway immediately west of Amador High School; and <br />WHEREAS, the zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing to review this application was held on <br />August 10, 1977, at which time all pertinent maps, drawings, <br />documents and testimony were reviewed by the Planning Com- <br />mission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the findings that: <br />A. The proposed location of the conditional use is in <br />accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the .district in which the site is located. <br />B. The proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or main- <br />tained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare or be materially injurious to pro- <br />perties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. The proposed conditional use will comply with each <br />of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Planning Commission resolves the following: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission approves UP-77-12, subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />site plan, elevations and landscape plan, Exhibit A, <br />on file with the Planning Department. <br />2. That approval of this use permit is subject to the approval <br />of Case Z-77-106 and any conditions which may be attached <br />hereto by the Design Review Board. <br />3. That the church encourage its members to use only the <br />western end of the Del Valle Parkway for access to the <br />site. <br />
