PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1556 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING <br />THAT DISPOSITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON <br />PETERS AVENUE IS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE <br />GENERAL PLAN. <br />WHEREAS, Section 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of <br />California requires that no real property may be acquired <br />for any public purpose nor may any public property be <br />disposed of until the Planning Commission has reported <br />to the City Council as to the conformity of such actions <br />with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on August 10, 1977, reviewed the <br />proposed disposition of a 3 ft. wide strip of surplus land <br />located on the east side of the proposed extension of Peters <br />Avenue, between that right-of-way and the parcel of land <br />known as 480 St. John Street (the site on which Jim and Jo <br />Betty Allen propose to construct an office building); and <br />WHEREAS, this strip of land is not needed for the extension of Peters <br />Avenue and the Allens propose to incorporate it in the <br />landscape area of their project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that disposition of the <br />property described in the foregoing is in conformance with <br />the General Plan. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of August, 1977, by the following vote: <br />
