PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 1556 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MAKING THE FINDING THAT DISPOSITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON PETERS AVENUE IS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, Section 65402 (a) of the Government Code of the State of California requires that no real property may be acquired for any public purpose nor may any public property be disposed of until the Planning Commission has reported to the City Council as to the conformity of such actions with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on August 10, 1977, reviewed the proposed disposition of a 3 ft. wide strip of surplus land located on the east side of the proposed extension of Peters Avenue, between that right-of-way and the parcel of land known as 480 St. John Street (the site on which Jim and Jo Betty Allen propose to construct an office building); and WHEREAS, this strip of land is not needed for the extension of Peters Avenue and the Allens propose to incorporate it in the landscape area of their project. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that disposition of the property described in the foregoing is in conformance with the General Plan. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
