PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1196 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of <br />the City of Pleasanton approving RZ-72-5. <br />REAS, the application of the Planning Commission <br />of the City of Pleasanton to amend the <br />existing zoning for that property bounded <br />on the north by Interstate Highway #580, <br />on the east by Interstate Highway #680, on <br />the south by Stoneridge Drive and on the <br />west by Foothill Road, has come before this <br />Commission, and, <br />REAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton has held a public hearing on <br />this application and has examined pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents, and finds that <br />the following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the <br />public interest and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a <br />more equitable condition for the community <br />than now prevails. <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of <br />City of Pleasanton hereby approves RZ-72-5, <br />to rezone the area encompassing approxi- <br />mately 178.045 acres to the C-R (Regional <br />Commercial) District and modifies the zoning <br />designation for that area encompassing ap- <br />proximately 97.645 acres to a PUD Multiple- <br />Family designation. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 8th day of August, 1972, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners McLain, Pereira, <br />Wood and Vice Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Chairman Garrigan <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Dated: August 8, 1972 <br />Attest: <br />~- <br />J.
