2.2 park facilities <br />The 17 -acre Community Park would include the following facilities; <br />• Open Turf/Informal Play Area <br />• Open Meadow <br />• Park "Hub" <br />• Group Picnic Area <br />• Restroom <br />• Ice Arena <br />2.2.1 <br />OPEN TURF/INFORMAL PLAY AREA <br />The Community Park provides 3.86 acres of open turf for informal use. It is <br />surrounded by the Meandering Loop Trail and Central Promenade, and includes <br />benches and one group picnic area with a shade structure. Several individual <br />picnic tables would also be located throughout the area. <br />Landscape Palette <br />This portion of the park would be primarily irrigated turf, with shade and <br />specimen trees, ornamental shrubs, and groundcover to create a more <br />traditional park setting. <br /> <br />
