Non-Paved
Meandering Natural Trail
The walking paths surrounding the Open Meadow would
not be paved, instead using a natural material more suitable
for an open space experience. This trail, while remaining
accessible, would provide an opportunity for park users to
move through a more naturally landscaped environment that
is still conveniently located near the main plaza, picnic, and
parking areas.
Meandering Natural Trail Landscaoins
The plant material used along the natural trail
and throughout the Open Meadow area would be
primarily a mix of native trees, shrubs, and grasses,
all of which help create a more natural environment.
Bicycle Circulation
Informal Access on Walking Paths
The meandering and looping nature of the path system throughout
the Community Park would allow casual cyclists to move throughout
the entire park. There would be direct access from the Regional Trail
to the Community Park, making the park a destination for cyclists.
The park paths would also provide anon-vehicular environment for
children.
Regional Trail Access
Bicycle Kiosk
A bicycle kiosk is proposed for the future retail center
immediately adjacent to the Community Park's plaza. The
kiosk would be funded and constructed by the retail center
developer, with the design approved by the City.
