RESOLUTION NO. 86-258 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS <br /> <br /> VALLEY AVENUE EXTENSION ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1988-1 <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> 1. This City Council has ~iven preliminary approval to <br />the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in Valley Avenue <br />Extension Assessment District No. 1988-1, City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California. The report includes plans and <br />specifications for the construction of improvements described in the <br />report. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton will receive sealed proposals <br />for this construction not later than 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 2, <br />1988, in the office of the City Clerk located at 200 Bernal Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, California 94588. At that time and place the sealed <br />proposals will be publicly opened, examined and declared. <br /> <br /> 3. The City Council reserves the power in its discretion <br />to reject all proposals. The award of construction. contract, if <br />made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time <br />fixed in the specifications (or any extension of time a~reed to by <br />the City and the lowest responsible bidder). <br /> <br /> 4. The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice <br />invitin~ sealed proposals in the TRI VALLEY HERALD in accordance <br />with the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913. The Engineer of Work is <br />authorized to ~ive additional notice and to distribute additional <br />information as necessary in the Judgment of the EnEineer of Work, to <br />secure competitive bidding. <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
