CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-233 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING LONG TERM AGREEMENT WITH SHEA HOMES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has adopted a Growth Management <br /> Program contained in Chapter 17.36 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, procedures and guidelines for the implementation of the <br /> Growth Management Program were adopted by Resolution No. <br /> 82-66, as amended; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based upon City Council discussions of May 20, 1986 and <br /> the information contained in the Committee Report, the <br /> City Council finds that this project selected to receive <br /> a long term agreement will best promote the public <br /> health, safety and welfare, and will best accomplish the <br /> purposes of the Growth Management Program and the <br /> General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the Long Term Agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and J. F. Shea Co., Inc. <br /> dba Shea Homes, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute the <br /> above-described agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Council finds that the current inventory of long <br /> term agreements approved and number of units approved, <br /> including past approvals, is as shown on Exhibit A <br /> attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
