CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-221 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF FIRE STATION NO. 2 (STONERIDGE MALL ROAD) <br /> STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND APPROVAL OF FINAL <br /> PROGRESS PAYMENT TO O. C. JONES AND SONS, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by O. C. Jones and Sons, Inc. on the Fire Station <br /> No. 2 street improvement project has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Fire Station No. 2 (Stoneridge Mall <br /> Road) street improvement project is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare a <br /> warrant in the amount of $937.01 in favor of O. C. Jones <br /> and Sons, Inc. in satisfaction of the final progress <br /> payment for the above-accepted work. Ten percent (10%) <br /> of the total contract or $27,411.24 will be retained <br /> until thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 20, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None · <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> F <br /> R., R <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />T~?~ AS TO FORM: <br />Pe~er~D.'
