PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2779 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-86-3 FOR <br /> PUBLIC STORAGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. has applied for rezoning from the <br /> CS (Commercial Service) District to the PUD (Planned <br /> unit Development)-Commercial District and development <br /> plan approval for 4 building, 81,625 sq. ft. <br /> mini-storage facility on an approximately 1.45 acre <br /> site located at 3744 and 3768 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of April 9, 1986 the Planning <br /> Commission recommended approval of the negative <br /> declaration for case PUD-86-3 after considering all <br /> public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations <br /> of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planned Unit Development zoning and development <br /> proposed conforms with the City's of Pleasanton's <br /> General Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends approval of Case <br /> PUD-86-3, application of Public Storage as herein <br /> described subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the development plan shall substantially <br /> conform to the plans, Exhibit A, on file with the <br /> Planning Department. <br /> <br /> 2. That the proposed perimeter block wall along the <br /> eastern property line be revised to a "Tomax" type <br /> design with a top row of cap blocks and that the <br /> wall panels be alternated between the smooth and <br /> rough sides, the final design and location to be <br /> approved by the Planning Director prior to issuance <br /> of a building permit. <br /> <br /> 3. That the proposed landscape plan be revised to <br /> include a series of pine fern (podocarpus <br /> gracilyor) type trees within the 5 ft. wide <br /> landscape strip along the eastern property line. <br /> The exact number and location of those trees shall <br /> be determined by City staff. <br /> <br /> <br />
