ATTACHMENT 2 AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTOR SERVICES Trash Collection from Park and Trail Waste Receptacles THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 1st day of July, 2008 by and between Sycamore Landscaping Corporation, ("Contractor"), whose address is P.O. Box 2279, Walnut Creek, CA 94595, and telephone number is 925-942-0751, and the City of Pleasanton, a municipal corporation ("City") WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for trash collection from park and trailhead trash receptacles; NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the parties agree as follows: 1. Services to be performed. Contractor shall diligently collect all waste in trash receptacles, reline receptacles with a new plastic liner, and haul trash off site to Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. Such services shall include providing labor, equipment, supplies, and transportation for such work force, and the necessary means of hauling trash to the designated site from City park and trailhead locations as described in the Specifications, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Such Specifications also include information regarding the number of waste receptacles to be serviced and general provisions of this Agreement. Contractor shall perform services on the days of Monday through Friday, as shown in the attached Specifications. After obtaining prior approval from the City's Parks Maintenance Superintendent, Contractor may alter the days in which service will be performed at each specific site, so long as each site receives at least one day per week, excepting Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Community Park, Phases I, V, and the Softball Complex; Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park; Muirwood Park; Creekside Park; Amador Valley Community Park; Fairlands Park; Orloff Park Play Area; and Century House, which shall receive service twice per week. If approved in advance by the Parks Maintenance Superintendent, the Contractor may observe several holidays during the year. During weeks in which there is a holiday, Contractor shall perform work at all sites during the remaining workdays of that week. If a holiday should fall on a Monday, then work at all sites that are serviced twice weekly shall be performed on the immediate Tuesday. If a holiday should fall on a Friday, work at all sites serviced twice weekly shall be performed on the preceding Thursday. 2. Hours of Work. Contractor shall limit the hours of work to Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. 3. Term of Agreement. The Term of Agreement is one year, commencing on July 1, 2008.
