NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton that does hereby oppose Proposition 98 on the June 2008 ballot. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we authorize the use of <br />our name by the No on Proposition 98 campaign in opposition to Proposition 98. <br />We direct staff to fax a copy of this adopted resolution to The League of <br />California Cities. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on May 20, 2008. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br />foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the <br />20th day of May 2008, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Ka n Diaz, City CI <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
