CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-198 ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF RIGHT TO ENTER AND CONSTRUCT FROM DELTA PROPERTIES FOR CONCRETE FOOTING FOR 1-580 OFF-RAMP AND APPROVAL OF GRANT OF EASEMENT TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR CONCRETE FOOTING FOR 1-580 OFF-RAMP WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of a Grant of Right to Enter and Construct from Delta Properties to the City of Pleasanton, for purposes of entering on the subject property described in the attached Exhibit "A" to excavate and construct a retaining wall and accompanying backfill and drainage improvements along Johnson Drive for the 1-580 eastbound off-ramp and Johnson Drive; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with the off-ramp improvements, it is necessary for the City to provide an easement to the State of California for the extension of the concrete footing consisting of an area of approximately 133 sq. ft. along Johnson Drive; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 6, 1986, the City Council received a report from the Assistant City Attorney (SR 86:171) indicating that the acceptance of this right to enter and construct is in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Grant of Right to Enter and Construct from Delta Properties to the City of Pleasanton to enter on the subject property described in the attached Exhibit "A" to excavate for and construct a retaining wall and the accompanying backfill and drainage improvements for the 1-580 eastbound off-ramp and Johnson Drive is hereby accepted and the appropriate City officers are instructed to take whatever action necessary to implement said acceptance. Section 2: Authorizes the Mayor to execute a Grant of Easement from the City of Pleasanton to the State of California for the extension of a concrete footing consisting of approximately 133 sq. ft. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
