CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-194 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-87 WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended (Public Utilities Code Sections 99200 et seq.), provides for the disbursement of funds from the local Transportation Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible claimants for the purpose of community transit services for Pleasanton residents; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of the TDA, as amended and pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations thereunder (21 Cal. Admin. Code Sections 6600 et seq.) a prospective claimant wishing to receive an allocation from the local Transportation Fund shall file its claim with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and WHEREAS, TDA funds from the local Transportation Fund of Alameda County will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year 1986-87 for community transit services. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Dolores Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services is authorized to execute and file an appropriate claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Development Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, together with all necessary supporting documents, with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for an allocation of TDA funds in Fiscal Year 1986-87. Section 2. That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in conjunction with the filing of the claim; and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission be requested to grant the allocations of funds as specified herein. - 1 -
