RESOLUTION NO. 86-184 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT <br /> AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1988-2, VALLEY BUSINESS PARK N0. <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> This Council has taken a series of actions preliminary to <br />orderin~ the improvement in Assessment District No. 1988-2, Valley <br />Business Park No. 2, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California <br />and now makes the followin~ findings and orders: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council adopted a map showin~ the boundaries <br />of the land benefited by the proposed improvement. A copy of the <br />boundary map was filed in the office of the County Recorder of the <br />County of Alameda in the Book of Maps of Assessment Districts. <br /> <br /> 2. The Council adopted its Resolution of Intention to <br />order the improvement described therein under the Municipal <br />Improvement Act of 1913, and directed Bissell ~ Karn as the Engineer <br />of Work for the assessment district, to prepare the report required <br />by Section 1020~ of the Streets and MiEhways Code. <br /> <br /> The improvement is ~enerally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The acquisition of soundwalls, landscaping, street lights, <br /> traffic signals and necessary appurtenances installed in <br /> and adjacent to Tract ~889, Valley Business Park, since <br /> the formation of Assessment District No. 1982-2; together <br /> with all necessary incidental expenses, includin~ <br /> preliminary en~ineerin~ plans and miscellaneous <br /> professional services for the extension of Valley Avenue <br /> from the easterly boundary of Tract 4889 to Stanley <br /> Boulevard; and the refundin~ of existin~ special <br /> assessments in Tract 4889. <br /> <br /> 3. The Engineer of Work filed the report as directed, and <br />the City Council called a hearin~ on the report as required by <br /> <br /> 0R G NAL <br /> <br /> <br />
