CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-171 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 15, 1986, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Acting Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities regarding the proposed "Private <br /> Development Design Guidelines"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Private Development Standards are the product of one <br /> year's work by the City Engineering Standards Committee <br /> and are put forth to accomplish the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Spell out in detail the City requirements and plan <br /> checking process for review and approval of onsite <br /> plans. <br /> <br /> 2. Simplify and clarify the City's requirements for <br /> materials and methods of construction or <br /> installation for onsite work. Wherever possible, <br /> national building codes are referenced, rather than <br /> having a special set of requirements unique to <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> 3. Spell out in detail City inspection practices for <br /> onsite work. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby adopts the Private <br /> Development Design Guidelines, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
