CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-168 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO A <br /> DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND APPROVING THE <br /> SIGNING PROGRAM FOR THE ASSOCIATES' BUILDING AT 4301 <br /> HACIENDA DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company applied for design review <br /> approval for a sign program at the Hacienda Center <br /> office complex on Hacienda Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 22, 1986, the Planning <br /> Commission approved the sign program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the decision was appealed by the City Council in order <br /> to review the application more fully; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on <br /> April 15, 1986 at which time all pertinent testimony and <br /> documents were reviewed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of the Planning <br /> Commission decision and therefore upholds the approval <br /> of the sign program for the Hacienda Center office <br /> complex at 4301, 4305 and 4309 Hacienda Drive, subject <br /> to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That the signage shall confirm substantially to the <br /> plans and elevations on file with the Planning <br /> Department, and that halo-illuminated letters and <br /> logo shall be used. <br /> <br /> 2. That the applicant apply for and be issued all <br /> required City permits prior to installation of <br /> signage. <br /> <br /> 3. That no additional signing shall be installed on <br /> the subject property without prior City approval. <br /> <br /> 4. That all illuminated wall signs must be turned off <br /> by 11:00 p.m. daily, except hotel signs. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
