CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-168 RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO A DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND APPROVING THE SIGNING PROGRAM FOR THE ASSOCIATES' BUILDING AT 4301 HACIENDA DRIVE WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company applied for design review approval for a sign program at the Hacienda Center office complex on Hacienda Drive; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 22, 1986, the Planning Commission approved the sign program; and WHEREAS, the decision was appealed by the City Council in order to review the application more fully; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council on April 15, 1986 at which time all pertinent testimony and documents were reviewed; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council denies the appeal of the Planning Commission decision and therefore upholds the approval of the sign program for the Hacienda Center office complex at 4301, 4305 and 4309 Hacienda Drive, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the signage shall confirm substantially to the plans and elevations on file with the Planning Department, and that halo-illuminated letters and logo shall be used. 2. That the applicant apply for and be issued all required City permits prior to installation of signage. 3. That no additional signing shall be installed on the subject property without prior City approval. 4. That all illuminated wall signs must be turned off by 11:00 p.m. daily, except hotel signs. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
