CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-167 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPEAL OF CITY COUNCIL TO A <br /> DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND APPROVING TRACT <br /> 5436, PONDEROSA HOMES, INC. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes, Inc. applied to the Planning Commission <br /> to revise Tentative Tract Map 5436 in order to eliminate <br /> a street segment and reconfigure several lots in the <br /> tract located generally in the area south of the <br /> Pleasanton Canal, north of Hansen Drive, and west of <br /> Valley Avenue and Camino Segura; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 10, 1986, the Planning <br /> Commission denied the project primarily because it was <br /> concerned about the traffic impacts on the existing <br /> adjacent streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this decision was appealed by the City Council so that <br /> they could review the application totally; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 15, 1986, the City Council held <br /> a public hearing at which time it reviewed the report of <br /> the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR <br /> 86:133) and received testimony from the applicant and <br /> members of the public regarding this appeal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the appeal of the City Council of a decision <br /> of the Planning Commission denying the application of <br /> Ponderosa Homes and approves the revised Tentative Map <br /> for Tract 5436 subdividing an approximately 75 acre site <br /> into 254 parcels, ranging in size from 5,000 sq. ft. to <br /> approximately 12.4 acres, located generally in the area <br /> south of the Pleasanton Canal, north of Hansen Drive, <br /> and west of Valley Avenue and Camino Segura, subject to <br /> conditions set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
