CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 86-167 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPEAL OF CITY COUNCIL TO A DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND APPROVING TRACT 5436, PONDEROSA HOMES, INC. WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes, Inc. applied to the Planning Commission to revise Tentative Tract Map 5436 in order to eliminate a street segment and reconfigure several lots in the tract located generally in the area south of the Pleasanton Canal, north of Hansen Drive, and west of Valley Avenue and Camino Segura; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 10, 1986, the Planning Commission denied the project primarily because it was concerned about the traffic impacts on the existing adjacent streets; and WHEREAS, this decision was appealed by the City Council so that they could review the application totally; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 15, 1986, the City Council held a public hearing at which time it reviewed the report of the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 86:133) and received testimony from the applicant and members of the public regarding this appeal; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the appeal of the City Council of a decision of the Planning Commission denying the application of Ponderosa Homes and approves the revised Tentative Map for Tract 5436 subdividing an approximately 75 acre site into 254 parcels, ranging in size from 5,000 sq. ft. to approximately 12.4 acres, located generally in the area south of the Pleasanton Canal, north of Hansen Drive, and west of Valley Avenue and Camino Segura, subject to conditions set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
