CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> PLEASANTON GARDENS FLOOD STUDY <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> , 1986, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br />CAMP, DRESSER & MCKEE, INC., a Massachusetts corporation <br />(hereinafter referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, engineering services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their engineering services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual convenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently perform <br />the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, and so <br />forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> "Exhibit A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined ' <br /> <br /> 2. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Roger G. <br />Fry. Consultant shall not replace Roger G. Fry without the prior <br />approval of the City. <br /> <br /> 3. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. Consultant agrees <br />that all maps, plans and reports prepared for City shall be <br />adequate and sufficient to meet the purposes for which they are <br />performed. <br /> <br /> <br />
