CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> MASTER PLANNING OF AUGUSTINE BERNAL PARK <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 15th day of <br /> <br /> April, 1986 , by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br /> <br /> municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br /> <br /> Kent Watson and Associates , a sole proprietorship <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br /> providing, engineering services and has offered its services for <br /> the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br /> advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br /> undertaking their engineering services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br /> agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br /> agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br /> perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, <br /> and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, any existing plans of <br />the area on file, necessary direction and plan checking within a <br />'reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be Kent <br />Watson. 'Consultant shall not replace Kent Watson without prior <br />approval of the City. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
