RESOLUTION NO 86-141 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENT IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1988-2, VALLEY BUSINESS PARK NO. 2 The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: This Council intends to order the followin~ improvement under the authority of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913: The acquisition of soundwalls, landscaping, street lights, traffic signals and necessary appurtenances installed in and adjacent to Tract 4889, Valley Business Park, since the formation of Assessment District No. 1982-2; toEether' with all necessary incidental expenses, includin~ preliminary en~ineerin~ plans and miscellaneous professional services for the extension of Valley Avenue from the easterly boundary of Tract 4889 to Stanley Boulevard; and the refundin~ of existin~ special assessments in Tract 4889. This Council finds that the land specially benefited by the improvement is shown within the boundaries of the map entitled, "Proposed Boundaries of Assessment District 1988-2, Valley Business Park No. 2, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California." This map has been approved by the City Council and is now on file with the City Clerk. The land within the exterior boundaries shown on the map shall be designated Assessment District No. 1988-2, Valley Business Park No. 2, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California. This Council intends to levy a special assessment upon the land within the described district in accordance with the special benefit to be received by each parcel of land, respectively, from the improvement. There shall be omitted from special assessment all publiolstreets, alleys and places and all land belon~in~ to the United States, the State of California, the County of Alameda and this City now in use in the performance of a public function.
