AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> <br /> STONERIDGE BUSINESS CENTER REFUNDING DISTRICT NO. 1986-3 <br /> <br /> This is an agreement for engineering services between the <br />City of Pleasanton, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, referred to as Client, and MACKAY & SOMPS, referred to <br />as Engineer. <br /> <br /> 1. Client retains Engineer as Engineer of Work for <br />Stoneridge Business Center Refunding District No. 1986-3, City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, to prepare the reassessment <br />report as required in Section 9523 of the Streets and Highways Code <br />(Refunding Act of 1984 for 1915 Improvement Act Bonds). <br /> <br /> 3. In consideration of the services set forth in <br />paragraph 1, Client shall pay to Engineer the lump sum amount of <br />$5,000.00, within 30 days after delivery of refunding bonds in the <br />reassessment proceedings. <br /> <br /> Payment by Client of said compensation is contingent upon <br />the levy of reassessments and the sale and delivery of refunding <br />bonds. If, for any reason, reassessments are not confirmed and <br />refunding bonds delivered, Engineer shall be paid no fee. <br /> <br /> Dated: April 1, 1986 <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br /> <br /> <br />
