CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-123 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION VACATING BUS TURNOUTS IN HACIENDA BUSINESS <br /> PARK AND ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR NEW LOCATIONS <br /> OF BUS TURNOUTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, various bus turnouts were designated on Parcel Map 3858 <br /> filed August 13, 1982; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 1, 1986, the City Council received a staff <br /> report (SR 86:123) recommending the vacation of certain <br /> bus turnouts more particularly described in Exhibit A, <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was also recommended that a Grant of Easement for the <br /> new locations for bus turnouts be accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed relocation of the bus turnouts is <br /> consistent with the goals and policies of the General <br /> Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the superseded bus turnouts are no longer necessary for <br /> present or prospective public use due to the relocation <br /> of the turnouts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the relocation of the bus turnouts, <br /> staff has recommended acceptance of a Grant of Easement <br /> for the new locations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways <br /> Code and based upon the findings above establishing the <br /> necessity to vacate the street right of way in a manner <br /> meeting the requirements of Section 8334 of the Streets <br /> and Highways Code, those bus turnouts dedicated in <br /> Parcel Map 3858 and described in Exhibit A are hereby <br /> vacated. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City of Pleasanton hereby accepts the Grant of <br /> Easement for the new locations of the bus turnouts, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference, and the appropriate city officers are <br /> instructed to take whatever action necessary to <br /> implement said acceptance. <br /> <br /> <br />
