CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-108 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION COMMITTING UP TO $4,000,000 OF SURPLUS <br /> PROPOSITION 4 FUNDS TO ASSIST IN PROVIDING AN <br /> INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 18, 1986, considerable <br /> discussion took place regarding the needs of the <br /> Pleasanton School District and the Proposition 4 surplus <br /> funds; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council hereby commits $4,000,000 of surplus <br /> Proposition 4 funds to the Pleasanton School District <br /> for the construction of an intermediate school, subject <br /> to the following constraints: <br /> <br /> a. The projected fiscal surpluses must actually <br /> materialize; and <br /> <br /> b. The expenditures must be consistent with applicable <br /> legal constraints; and <br /> <br /> c. The City Council must receive satisfactory <br /> justifications regarding actual plans for school <br /> expansion. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 18, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None ,, <br /> <br /> ATTEST: ' ~ <br />/J~Y~m R ~ Y~R <br /> <br /> es .
