PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-53 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-80-2-6D, APPLICATION OF BERNAL AVENUE ASSOCIATES WHEREAS, Bernal Avenue Associates has applied for design review approval to construct an approximately 35,500 sq. ft. retail commercial complex, to be located on an approximately 6.9 are site located in the area bounded by Koll Center Drive, Koll Center Parkway, Bernal Avenue, and Valley Avenue; and WHEREAS, Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 27, 1987 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the rezoning and development plan approval for the business park complex in which this project is located. A project of this nature was included into the scope of that EIR. Therefore, no environmental document accompanied this case and no further environmental review is necessary at this time. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Recommends approva]. of Case PUD-80-2-6D, Bernal Avenue Associates for design review approval to construct an approximately 35,500 sq. ft. retail commercial complex to be located on an approximately 6.9 acre site located in the area bounded by Koll Center Drive, Koll Center Parkway, Bernal Avenue, and Valley Avenue subject to the following conditions: 1. That the development shall substantially conform to the plans and elevations on file-with the Planning Department except as modified herein. 2. That the development shall be subject to all conditions of approval for case PUD-80-2-2M. 3. That the applicant shall submit a separate application to the Design Review Board for approval of all entrance monument signs. - 1 -
