PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-53 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-80-2-6D, <br />APPLICATION OF BERNAL AVENUE ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Bernal Avenue Associates has applied for design review <br />approval to construct an approximately 35,500 sq. ft. <br />retail commercial complex, to be located on an <br />approximately 6.9 are site located in the area bounded <br />by Koll Center Drive, Koll Center Parkway, Bernal <br />Avenue, and Valley Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 27, 1987 the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />rezoning and development plan approval for the business <br />park complex in which this project is located. A <br />project of this nature was included into the scope of <br />that EIR. Therefore, no environmental document <br />accompanied this case and no further environmental <br />review is necessary at this time. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approva]. of Case PUD-80-2-6D, Bernal <br />Avenue Associates for design review approval to <br />construct an approximately 35,500 sq. ft. retail <br />commercial complex to be located on an approximately 6.9 <br />acre site located in the area bounded by Koll Center <br />Drive, Koll Center Parkway, Bernal Avenue, and Valley <br />Avenue subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development shall substantially conform to <br />the plans and elevations on file-with the Planning <br />Department except as modified herein. <br />2. That the development shall be subject to all <br />conditions of approval for case PUD-80-2-2M. <br />3. That the applicant shall submit a separate <br />application to the Design Review Board for approval <br />of all entrance monument signs. <br />- 1 - <br />
