PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-59 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE <br />RZ-87-3, PUBLIC STORAGE, SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION <br />COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. and Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company have applied to rezone an aprpoxiamtely 1.47 and <br />4.2 acre site to the IP (Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 27, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />RZ-87-3; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 20, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held May 27, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval. of the Negative Declaration for <br />RZ-87-3, application of Public Storage, Inc./Southern <br />Pacific Transportation Company. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and Adoption. <br />-• 1 - <br />
