CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-90 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' <br /> ASSOCIATION AND AMENDING THE 1986-87 BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager <br /> as employer representative of the City Council, and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' <br /> Association have met and conferred pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government <br /> Code in regard to wages, hours, and other terms and <br /> conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton <br /> Police Officers' Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process, <br /> a Memorandum of Understanding dated March 4, 1986 was <br /> entered into between the City Manager and <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' <br /> Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the <br /> City Council at the meeting of March 4, 1986; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Memorandum of Understanding entered into between <br /> the City Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton <br /> Police Officers' Association, for a term commencing <br /> January 1, 1986 through December 31, 1987, attached <br /> hereto, is accepted by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, subject to the terms and conditions <br /> contained in the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />Section 2: The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be <br /> paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association during the <br /> period January 1, 1986 through December 31, 1987 shall <br /> be set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding, <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The budget of the City of Pleasanton for fiscal year <br /> 1986-87 is hereby amended to reflect those changes <br /> enumerated in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
