PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-87-67 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE <br />PUD-87-10, WARREN AVEPIUE ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Warren Avenue Associates has applied for Planned Unit <br />Development rezoning and development plan approval for a <br />single-story, approximately 7,750 square foot building <br />for retail commercial uses and for related improvements, <br />to be located on an approximately 20,000 square foot <br />site, located at the northeast corner of the <br />intersection of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 24, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-87-10; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated May 12, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held June 24, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section l: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />PUD-87-10, application for Planned Unit Development <br />rezoning and development plan approval for a <br />single-story, approximately 7,750 square foot building <br />for retail commercial uses and for related improvements, <br />to be located on an approximately 20,000 square foot <br />site, located at the northeast corner of the <br />intersection of Hopyard Road and Owens Drive. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and F~doption. <br />- 1 - <br />
