PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-73 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE <br />PUD-87-2, HARBOR VIEW INVESTMENT, INC. <br />WHEREAS, Harbor View Investment, Inc. has applied to rezone from <br />"A" (Agricultural) District to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial and Offices District and <br />development plan approval for a seven-story 150 room <br />hotel, restaurant, and related facilities, to be located <br />on an approximately 3.6 acre site, located at 11920 Old <br />Dublin Canyon Road; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 24, 1987, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-87-02; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 1, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held June 24, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines goveY•ning the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Envix•onmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Harbor View Investment, Inc. to rezone from "A" <br />(Agricultural) District to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial and Offices District and <br />development plan approval for a seven-story 150 room <br />hotel, restaurant, and related facilities, to be located <br />on an approximately 3.6 acre site, located at 11920 Old <br />Dublin Canyon Road. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and Adoption. <br />-~ 1 - <br />
