ATTACHMENT 4 <br />CONTRACT <br />ANNUAL SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE <br />PROJECT NO. 075012. <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 20TH day of MAY, 2008 by and <br />between George Bianchi Construction, Inc., ("Contractor"), whose address is 775-A <br />Mabury Road, San Jose, CA 94133, and telephone number is (408) 453-3037 and the <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for the ANNUAL <br />SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE, PROJECT NO. 075012. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br />Work to be Performed. <br />The work will consist of the removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter, <br />concrete sidewalk/driveways curb through drains and access ramps in various <br />City streets as shown on project plans. <br />Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on <br />file with the Department of Public Works of the City and are incorporated herein <br />by this reference: <br />A. Approved Plans and Specifications entitled the ANNUAL <br />SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE, PROJECT NO. 075012, and <br />addenda thereto, if any. <br />B. Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in <br />accordance with the Standard Specifications. <br />C. The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the <br />Contractor, which the City has accepted. <br />2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at <br />the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City. The quantities of <br />work stated therein are estimates only; actual quantities will be measured for <br />payment in accordance with the specifications. <br />
