PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-87-76 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE <br />PUD-87-16, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, City of Pleasanton has applied for development plan <br />approval to allow the construction of an eight million <br />gallon water reservoir, pumping stations, drainage ways <br />and structures, transmission lines, and other related <br />improvements, to be located generally in the area of an <br />approximately four acre site located approximately 1,300 <br />feet northeast of the intersection of Sycamore Road and <br />Alisal Street; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Low Density Residential/Open Space <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of June 24, 1987, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-87-16; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated April 9, 1987 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held June 24, 1987, at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval. of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-•87-1G, application of the City of <br />Pleasanton for development plan approval to allow the <br />construction of an eight million gallon water reservoir, <br />pumping stations, drainage ways and structures, <br />transmission lines, and other related improvements, to <br />be located generally in the area of an approximately <br />four acre site located approximately 1,300 feet <br />- 1 - <br />
