CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 86-86 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE <br /> COMPANY OF AMERICA FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR A <br /> TEN-STRUCTURE OFFICE COMPLEX ON 61 ACRES LOCATED IN THE <br /> AREA BOUNDED BY ROSEWOOD DRIVE ON THE WEST AND NORTH, <br /> TASSAJARA CREEK ON THE EAST, AND OWENS DRIVE ON THE <br /> SOUTH (PUD-85-8-1D) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company of America has applied for <br /> design approval for a ten-structure, approximately <br /> 1,029,250 square foot office complex to be located on an <br /> approximately 61 acre site located in the area bounded <br /> by Rosewood Drive on the west and north, Tassajara Creek <br /> on the east, and Owens Drive on the south; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br /> development plan of the subject site (PUD-85-8) <br /> including the typical architectural and site designs for <br /> individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br /> or new information requiring additional environmental <br /> review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br /> a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br /> documents accompany this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on March 4, 1986 and testimony <br /> taken concerning the proposed project including this <br /> design, cumulative impact, consistency with PUD-85-8 and <br /> the General Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is <br /> consistent with PUD-85-8 as well as the City's General <br /> Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company for design approval for a ten-structure, <br /> approximately 1,029,250 square foot office complex to be <br /> located on an approximately 61 acre site located in the <br /> area bounded by Rosewood Drive on the west and north, <br /> Tassajara Creek on the east, and Owens Drive on the <br /> south (PUD-85-8-1D), subject to the conditions listed in <br /> Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
